Description

single twist; square shank

History

A reduced version of the spiral auger which were revolutionary early 19th century tools. Belonged to Francis X. Drouillard, born in Walkerville in 1823. Francis died in 1912 in the same farmhouse along the river where his father was born in the early 1800s.
