From "A Book of Dolls" by Gwen White 649.55. Country of origin shown following tariff act of 1890. Other information indicates this doll to be c.1900. Manufacturers in Germany at the period were Maisonville, Kammara, Reiver, Kesterner From the Macdonald residence, following the death of Mrs. Macdonald, July 1969.
