History

Said to be given to donor by father-in-law Albert P. Gignac who got the door from the Elliott house. Gignac was born in 1870. Door used to keep wagon from sinking into sand when filling water barrels, River Canard. Door used when Gignac was 10 or 12 years old (1881-1883).
