History

These tools were given to donor by Russell Turnbull, a lawyer, and now deceased. They originally belonged to W.H.Pim, who was Turnbull's great grandfather, who was in charge of the construction of Hiram Walker's first warehouses. The tools were used on that job, and later in the reconstruction of canal locks in the United States following the Civil War. Russell Turnbull was a brother of Charles Turnbull, the auto license agent at Dorwin Plaza, who supplied much of this information.
