History

Benedict Arnold was a General in the American military during the American Revolutionary War (1775-1783), however he switched sides to the British in 1780. His grand-daughter, Margaret Arnold McEwan lived in Windsor. Margaret was honoured with a pocket watch from the Great Western Railway for her contributions during the cholera epidemic in 1854.
