Brooke Painting and Decorating Company (formerly Denis Dumouchel's harness shop) at 74 Pitt street west, c. 1904; the store is a one-storey brick building; a painted sign advertising the store and its services is mounted above the store and an awning advertising Dumouchel's shop is visible below; the storefront has two large, four-paned windows and a wide doorway; merchandise is visible through the windows; the men are standing on either side of the doorway, each with a leg up on the step; the man on the left is wearing paint-stained overalls and a hat and the man on the right is in a dark suit and bowler hat.

The store was located at 6 Pitt Street West and was previously the home of Denis Dumouchel's Harness Shop.
