bisque, head with shoulders lower arms & hands; lower limbs and feet also bisque; painted; cloth body, wool filled; fixed glass eyes; synthetic hair dressed in 76.12.2 through 76.12.9 lace dress, eyelet embroidery on petticoats blue ribbon sash, bonnet trimmed with lace.
hair unglued; bonnet fragile, patches in petticoat

History

Bonnet was first one worn by the donor as a baby. Underclothing made from baby clothes of donors sister c.1913. Dress made from donors wedding gown. April 1982, straight pins attaching garment to doll replaced by brass pins; muslin undergarment and petticoat basted closed with cotton thread; March 1982 - hair that was separate put in acid free folder and kept in same location as doll
