History

Jane Elizabeth Wells & Bertha Wells were daughters of George Wells & Elizabeth Ure. George & Elizabeth had four children: Elizabeth, Bertha, William & Arthur. Elizabeth married John Vickers Gray on June 30, 1896 in Sandwich. John (b. May 29, 1870, d. May 21, 1951) began the John V. Gray Construction Co. Ltd. in 1916. John & Elizabeth had two children, Dorothy Elizabeth and Margaret Helen (later Lawrence, the donor).
