History

Frederick Jasperson was a civil engineer for the Pennsylvania and Reading railroad. Bonzano Jasperson was born in Kingsville on May 25, 1869 to Lewis and Nancy Jane (Wigle) Jasperson. He remained with his parents until their deaths and was engaged in the lumber business with his brother George until 1892. From 1892 - 1895 Bonzano was engaged in the grain business in Kingsville. He sold his business to the Henry Company in 1896 and became involved in private banking. He was involved in a number of other ventures over the years, including founding the Pelee Gas & Oil Company, stockholder in a Kingsville canning company, County Treasurer and both a Deacon & Junior Warden for the church. On October 8, 1892, Bonzano married Gertrude Kent in Truro, NS. Gertrude and Bonzano had two children, Esther G. (b1897) and Frederick K (b1900).
