History

Lloyd was the son of George and Hortense Allen. George Allen owned Geo. Allen Livery & Feed Stables located at 44 Pitt St. E., and was superintendant of the Windsor Jockey Club and caretaker of the Windsor Driving Park [now Jackson Park]. Lloyd worked as a teamster and lumber sealer with his father, hauling wood from Yawkey Bush. Lloyd appears to be in his mid to late thirties in this image.
