Description

Photo a man tending to the ivy growing around the porch of his frame house, while a woman and a child read on the porch and two other children play, possibly in Essex, Ontario.

History

Approximately 150 glass plate negatives, including the one for this photo, were found in the wreckage of the Dr. J.W. Brien residence on Talbot St. in Essex (Ont.) by Rodger Saegert, after it was demolished in May 1959.
