History: The Pitt for Pasta was popular with local diners, it was formerly the home of Central Hardware in the 1920's and 1930's and a bar & grill that adopted the same name in the mid 1990's. The Norwich Block housed some of downtown Windsor's oldest buildings, many of which were built within a decade of Windsor's 1871 fire. This photo was taken one week prior to the demolition of the block.
