Description: Black and white photograph of the second Windsor City Hall; the building is a tall, four-storey brick structure; the basement is half-submerged into the ground and a wide set of stone steps leads up to the main floor; the steps have a brick railing and tall lampposts at the bottom; at the top of the steps there are two arched doors and two arched windows; there are four rectangular windows on the main floor, two on each side of the doorway; there are eight arched windows on the third floor; the centre section of the building extends toward the sidewalk slightly and the fourth floor has one arched window in this centre section; there are two or three chimneys on the roof; there is a flagpole to the right of the building and there are two lampposts and two automobiles in the foreground.
History: Originally completed in 1873 as the Central School, this building became Windsor's second City Hall in 1904. It was demolished in 1956 to make way for the current City Hall.
