Black and white photograph of the mouth of the Thames River at Lake St. Clair, possibly taken from the old Light House; land is visible in the left half of the photograph; in the foreground there is a metal bar obscuring the view; there is a crane set up in the centre of the photo and this, as well as a small wooden bridge, span the mouth of a small stream leading into the river; jutting out from shore on the far side of the bridge is a small raised hut; in the foreground on the right there is a parking lot with automobiles parked in it; there are several boats and canoes in the river, which runs from the centre, right of the photo, out to Lake St. Clair at the top; a small portion of land is visible in the top right of the photo.
