Pillon Carriage & Wagon Makers" painted on a sign above; the side of the building has an advertisement for Boug's Clothing, and an open set of double doors in which a man in overalls is standing; the building extends back out toward the top left corner of the photograph.
History: The Malden Council met in this building before erection of the township hall in 1861.
