Description

Black and white photograph of the steam-powered flour and girst mill at Pike Creek; the building is a very tall three-storey wooden structure; the right side of the building is taller than the left, and the roof slopes down further on the left side; there is a small railed walkway atop the peak of the roof and a smokestack; the third storey has two windows on the side of the building (to the right of the photo), the second storey has three windows on the side and four on the front, and the main floor has three windows and a doorway on each side; at the corner of the building there are eight men standing on top of a tall porch; in front of the porch there are three pairs of horses pulling wagons.

Mrs. Frank Cada's house was built over the foundation of the old mill.
