Description: Very faded black and white photograph of the Windsor Fire Department, Hook and Ladder Company; in the centre of the photograph is the Hook & Ladder engine being pulled by two horses; the engine is very long, has four wheels and has approximately eight men sitting or standing on it; to the right of the engine, heading out of the photograph, is another horsedrawn vehicle; there are people standing in the far bottom left corner of the photo and there are ivy-covered buildings in the background; there are trees behind the engines; the photograph has tape around the edges and was taken circa 1893 at the corner of Park Street & Victoria Avenue; Richard Brooks is standing on the running board of the main fire truck.
