Black and white photograph of eight semi-detached brick houses on the east side of First Street between Brant & Wyandotte St.; the two large buildings are each two storeys high with peaked roofs and four chimneys; there is a boardwalk running in front of the buildings which connects to a boardwalk running perpendicular to the houses and out of the photograph; there are bare trees in front of the houses.

History

First street is now known as Tuscarora Street, which was named by Samuel Smith MacDonell after an Indian tribe in his native St. Lawrence Valley.
