Drulard Meat Market and Grocery Store located on the south side of Sandwich Street West between Ferry Street and Dougall Avenue; there is a tall wooden fence at the right side of the photograph which is attached to the market; there is a boy standing beside the fence in the foreground of the photograph; the Market is a two-storey wooden building; "R.M. Drulard Meat Market and Groceries" and "Groceries" signs are posted above the store and between the windows; there are baskets full of produce, brooms and meats on display in front of the store; there are three men standing in front of the store; the centre man is identified as Richard Matthew Drulard and the men on either side are his brothers; in front of the store a man is leading a horse which is harnessed to a cart; there is damage to the photograph on the bottom toward the left side;
History: Drulard is the anglicized spelling of Drouillard.
