Black and white photograph of the Wesley Methodist Church (now Windsor Methodist Church) destroyed by fire on January 4, 1904 at 8:00am; the church is located on the corner of Chatham Street and Windsor Avenue and was built in 1885; the front section of the church is badly smoke damaged; it has a high bell tower in the centre which appears to be undamaged; to the left of the church is a small, two storey house which is connected to the church in the background; there is a man standing in the foreground of the photograph.
