Black and white photograph of the Wesley Methodist Church (now Windsor Methodist Church) destroyed by fire on January 4, 1904 at 8:00am; the church is located on the corner of Chatham Street and Windsor Avenue; the bell tower of the church is on the left side of the photograph and appears undamaged; the back side of the church, visible to the camera, is at least two storeys high with a peaked roof; the roof on the portion facing the camera and on the portion connecting to the bell tower are completely burned away; the section of the church to the right of the photograph has arched windows and a chimney; the stonework on the outside of the church appears undamaged; there is a small fence leading behind the church, and a taller wooden fence leading out of the photograph to the right; there are two people walking toward the church in front of the tall fence; "Windsor Ave. Methodist Church Destroyed by fire Jan. 4th 1904. 8AM" is hand printed on the bottom of the photograph; the church was built in 1885.
