History: In 1887, Parke Davis and Company of Detroit established a branch laboratory for the whole of Canada in Walkerville. The building pictured was located at the corner of 5th and Sandwich Street in Walkerville, the company employed 75 hands in 1894 and 125 hands by 1898.
