Noisemaker from Windsor Civilian Defense

History

Noisemaker belonged to Harry J. Lassaline who acted as Regional Director of Civilian Defense in Windsor during World War II. This was in addition to his regular job as the general manager of the Windsor Chamber of Commerce. The noisemaker was used to attract the attention of persons who had light showing during the black out practises in the early 1940s.
