History

Believed to have been acquired by Noel Parent on a Sunday in 1866, after the services at Assumption Church was interrupted by the priest saying "Everybody go home, the Fenians are crossing the river!" Noel Parent (m. Moise Labadie), was donor's maternal grandfather.
