Description

Black fur (beaver?) with a purple ostrich feather stitched down to the top over a black ostrich feather; shaped like a chapeau-bras; trimmed with black velvet; oval-shaped crest on one side: black satin background with purple velvet inside and 2 crossed gold staves; lined with black leather and brown satin.

History

"IOOF" refers to Independent Order of Odd Fellows. From the estate of Dorothy Graisbery Graham (nee d'Avignon), 567 Church Street, Windsor. She was born November 4, 1897, and married Percy Crichton Graham June 4, 1927.
