History

May have been worn in South African War (Oct. 12 1899-May 31, 1902). Could possibly be a mess jacket. A mess jacket made by O. Labelle a Ladies and Gentlemen's tailor located at 220 Dundas St. London. Part of the Custom tailor's label, Journeyman Tailors Union of America, organized 1883 and registered.
