History

"Given to me by my grandfather" - donor The Border Cities Auto Stage Line was based in Windsor Ontario, Canada between 1925-1928. They provided service in Windsor, Bell River, Tilbury and St. Clair Beach using a fleet of buses. Service ran to St. Clair Beach, from Windsor, every 45 minutes, hourly to Bell River and every two hours to Tilbury. Tokens were issued in 10, 20, 30 and 40 cent denominations and later a series of 15, 25, 35 and 50 cent to reflect an increase in fare.
