Description: Cream brocaded satin with closed toe and heel; narrow, rounded, slightly pointed toe; buckled strap at ankle, trimmed with silver leather; strap has small rectangular silver metal buckle that is painted cream with a small silver design; outside of heel is painted silver.
History: Worn by Mrs. Vida (O'Gorman) Lajeunesse at her wedding to Eugene Lajeunesse, October 7, 1929. She was born October 10, 1902 in LaSalle and was married at Sacred Heart Church in LaSalle. At the time of the donation (Sept. 5, 1991), she was residing at Riverview Hospital.
