Description

Unfinished wood; one corner is a right angle; long side is carved in scrolling patterns; four cut-out areas (2 large, 2 small); pencil lines on back.

History

This bargeboard belonged to the Luc Montreuil house, originally on Sandwich Street near Montreuil, on the property now owned by Parke-Davis and Co. The house was moved to 1791 Kildare (corner of Mohawk) in the spring of 1926 by Frederick Johnson, Jr. See also P2300 and 2301
