History

Field candle case was carried by Lourdis (Larry) Hyttenrauch during his military service. Born in London in 1867, he graduated from medicine t the University of Western Ontario in 1888. He served with the 7th Fusilliers, out of London, Ontario during the Riel Rebellion and with the Canadian Army Medical Corp. during WWI. He served for 25 years as school medical officer in Windsor.
