Description

Silver blade curves upward at end; brass plate at handle end of blade; brass plate and horn handle are separated by 3 rings of wood: one brown, 2 painted white with red and black stripes; the 2 halves of the horn handle are nailed together with 4 copper-coloured nails on each side; end of handle is a silver metal tip which curves into a rounded point -if looking at the knife from this end, this metal tip is shaped like a teardrop and is screwed to the horn part with a 1cm wide brass screw; a brown wood ring separates the horn and metal parts of the handle.

History

According to E. St. Antoine, it is a German knife from World War II. He says, "a kid found it and gave it to [him] "
