History

"This China was the wedding china of Mr. and Mrs. Willian Overton who were the parents of Mrs. James Augustus Reeves. James Augustus Reeves was the publisher and owner of the Amherstberg Courier, the first paper in Essex County. 1849. Mr. and Mrs. James A. Reeve's were the parents of Mrs. Charles W. Gauthier (Emma Elizabeth Reeves). Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Gauthier were the parents of Mrs. Edith M. Masson who was the mother of George Yule Masson."
