Description: Shaped like a bell; opens at bottom; cream-coloured cardboard; Cover: Looks like a bell with flowers (yellow, cream, light blue) on green vines draped over it; gold handle and "shadow"; black lines; bottom (the underside of the "bell") is signed, "from Uncle Ulysse & family" in black ink; Inside bottom: "WEDDING/CONGRATULATIONS/May all your days/be sunny/And all your skies/be blue,/And life hold all the/happiness/I wish today for you."; a .75cm wide cream satin ribbon is tied around the top of the card (the "handle" of the "bell")in a bow and forms a loop; a 1cm wide cream satin ribbon is also tied in a bow at the top of the card; one end is passed through a hole in the cover, passes along the inside, then emerges through another hole in the cover about three-quarters of the way down the left side.
History: Wedding card for Eugene and Vida (O'Gorman) Lajeunesse, married October 7, 1929, at Sacred Heart Church in LaSalle.
