Description: Rectangular; cream-coloured paper envelope with flap has textured surface; lining is gold textured paper; cream-coloured textured ("bubbly") paper card opens at side; Front: "Wedding Congratulations" in gold letters; has a drawing of a bride and groom with bells and flowers above them (light blue, pink, yellow, green, outlined in gold); .75cm wide cream satin ribbon threaded through 2 holes in the cover and tied in a bow at the front; Inside Left: more flowers and bells (pink, light blue, green, yellow, outlined in gold); Inside Right: says, "Congratulations most sincere;/May you, your whole life through,/Be just the happiest married folks/This old world ever knew!" in black letters, with more flowers below; signed, "Lill & Jim" in light green ink.
History: Wedding card for Eugene and Vida (O'Gorman) Lajeunesse, married October 7, 1929, at Sacred Heart Church in LaSalle.
