Description

For an automobile; same as 986.4.2; black metal rim, brake drum, and hub; ten wooden spokes painted black; hub has sextagonal silver metal centre which protrudes about 4" out; hub has around its edge 8 bolts whose rounded heads protrude slightly above the hub; one metal balancing weight on each rim; aluminum dust caps.

History

Donor says the wheels are from a 1928 Essex, which would have been built in the United States. Hudson-Essex of Canada Limited didn't come into existance until 1931. The 1928 Essex therefore would have been built in the U.S
