Fine white linen; fine lace along bottom hem, armhole edge, and neckline; five parallel rows of fine gathering run horizontally between the breasts; thin ivory ribbon is drawn through the neckline lace to be tied at front; front is one piece, back has centre seam; front & back crotch extensions are separate pieces sewn on; front extension has 2 mother-of-pearl buttons, back has 2 buttonholes; appears to be handsewn.
