History

Found floating in the Detroit River by Ernest Meloche in 1916. Apparently there was a practice of replacing bulbs on board ships before they burned out and tossing the old bulbs overboard. This light bulb was used in M Meloche's mother's home from 1916 to 1931 and was still in use when he returned from service in 1947.
