Description

- hinged with pins - 2 square and 1 rectangular sections - section with magnifying glass fold into middle section first, then other sections folds in top of sections with glass - middle and third sections have square and rectangular openings (i.e. when folded, owner can see through)

History

- belonged to Mr. Lauzon's grandmother, Matilda Brousseau Fredericks who received it from her father Pierre Brousseau - brought to Tilbury from Montreal in 1848 Used when counting number to the inch in fabrics (according to Mrs. Macdonald).
