History

Belonged to John Fraser who was a blacksmith, journeyman, carpenter, and farmer. He had a son Alec Fraser, who was born in Ottawa Valley, Hawkesburg. Alec was the first white child born in the community 1818. Information from R.O. Fraser (donor), the great grandson of John and was born in 1900.
