Description

Masher (.01): Light brown wood; conical with finial on wide end. Sieve (.02): Silver-coloured; tin; round ring at base with 3 arms extending up to the round top; conical sieve is suspended downwards from this top ring; ear-shaped handle on one arm; pieces are bolted together.

History

sieve/masher belonged to Delphine and Felix Paquette of Paquette Corners in McGregor. Their daughter Cecilia (now deceased) was born c. 1905. Her daughter, Jeannette Poupard (never married) inherited them from Cecilia. J
