History

The cradle was made by Colbert Knapp from the wood of black walnut and wild cherry. He made it for Mr. and Mrs. Isadore Moison (Mathilda Knapp) for their first baby - Elric Moison (born 1877) who is father of donor. He made it from black walnut and wild cherry wood. This couple was married in Belle River at St. Simon and St. Jude's Church.
