History

Containers of all shapes and sizes were used to carry salt and this is a salt cellar that was brought by Adelia Larkin Kelly Cruise, native(s) of Co. Roscommon Ireland, in Toronto 1842. It was then brought by oxen team to Township of Moore (12th Line), Lambton County, Ont. shortly thereafter.
