History

The donor's father (Wiley Moxley, born March 26, 1888, died January 1957) had the china in his house when he was growing up in Missouri. The china belonged to his parents. He moved to Windsor in 1918 and was President of U.S. Playing Cards (which was located where Ramada is today - on the riverfront- Riverside and Bruce). The donor says this was ordinary crockery in the house - not the fancy stuff.
