George Penwill served as Member of the Windsor School Board. Arthur was born in 1924. The steam shovel and dump truck were patterned after full-sized ones used by city of Windsor at the tim e(c.1922). The toys were used by Edward and Arthur and their children and grandchildren - 3 generations. The steam shovel used to have a weight in the cab in order to provide balance when the shovel went up the weight was lost somtime during the last 70 years (from time of donation).
