Plated steel alligator forceps; scissor grip; slide action; scissor grips are at angle to the shaft (45 or 50 degrees); marks on grip: [crown / shaft / snake] KNK-SCHLERER CORP / GERMANY when open grips, bottom of shaft slides back towards grips and tip of bottom shaft slides on at approx. 45 to 50 degree angle from top shaft.

Used by Dr. John A. Davies, Windsor's first urology specialist. He opened his practice in Windsor, c. 1926.
