Description: Rectangular; cream-coloured paper envelope with flap is lined with a sparkly gold floral pattern; cream-coloured card opens at side; cardboard cover and separate paper inside are joined together by a 1cm wide cream satin ribbon threaded through 2 holes in cover and inside and tied in a bow in front; Cover: says, "To the/Happy Pair" in black letters; drawing of a bride and groom in goin-away clothes (black, light blue, pink, gold, green) and 2 pink flowers (in top right and bottom left corners); Inside Right: "To The Happy Pair/To share long years of wedded love,/To know the smile of Heaven above-/Its blessings showered along your way,/Its dearest grace from day to day." in black letters; signed, "Mary & Ray" in black ink.
History: Wedding card for Eugene and Vida (O'Gorman) Lajeunesse, married OCtober 7, 1929, at Sacred Heart Church in LaSalle.
