History

Bertha is the sister of the donor's mother, Mrs. Jane Elizabeth (Wells) Gray. Elizabeth Ure and George Wells lived in Sandwich and had four children: Elizabeth, Bertha, William and Arthur. Elizabeth married John Vickers Gray and had two children: Dorothy Elizabeth and Margaret Helen (donor - later Mrs. Lawrence).
