Black and white aerial photograph of the west side of the Canada Building and the Prince Edward Hotel, located at 364 - 388 Ouellette Avenue; the Canada Building is a 12-storey white building with rectangular windows and a Union Jack flying from the top; the Prince Edward Hotel is a nine-storey dark building with tall arched windows on the ground floor and rectangular windows on the rest of the building; there are cars parked along the sides of the road; houses and trees are visible in the background to the left of the buildings and several rooftops are visible in the foreground.

History

The Prince Edward Hotel was built in 1921/22. It was torn down in 1976 and the Scotia Bank Building now occupies the site.
