Description: Black and white photograph of Military barracks; seven wooden buildings are visible in the photograph, each with a chimney; the buildings are rectangular in shape with a number of windows; there are quite a number of soldiers standing around the buildings; these barracks were erected in City Hall Square, Wndsor, at the time of the Fenian threat, about 1866 (previous barracks had been errected in 1840); later two of these buildings served for school purposes and one as an isolation hospital.
