Light brown cardboard rectangular cover, bound with green leather on one short side; signature inside front cover in brown ink (see Marks); ivory-coloured pages, 108 pages of music; indecipherible scribbling in pencil inside back cover; title, etc. is on frontispiece (see Marks).

History

Dates to the founding of All Saints' Anglican Church on City Hall Square. The church traces its beginnings to 1852, when the first Anglican services in Windsor were conducted in a school. The present church was opened in 1857. See also 984.10.2 Associated with the organ was the 1845 Canadian Church Psalmody - the property of "M. Richards". Mark Richards was a baker, who probably served as the church's first organist.
